No matter what shape you decide on for a table, you should allow at least three feet between the table edge and an obstruction such as a server or wall. This provides sufficient space for folks to move throughout the table, and in and out from their seats. Alternatively, more than six feet remaining between one wall or obstruction and the table means that the set is too small.
If you stay in a loft apartment or other small space, locating a dining table that fits your limited space can often be challenging. Our 2 piece and 3 piece dining sets are the ideal solution. Drop-leaf tables take up minimal space while providing a cozy area for you to enjoy your morning coffee and meals. Another option is a pub table and matching barstools. With measurements around 36-inches wide, dining sets can be compact yet provide the ideal amount of space. Need extra storage room? Look for table bases which may have built-in shelves or a drawer for optimal space to store items.
